Another programme produced, designed and edited by JJ Sports Promotions Ltd has figured highly in the end of season programme awards.
This time the WREXHAM programme came runner up in the Programme Monthly Programme of the Year for all clubs in the Skrill Premier Division and Managing Director, Terry Brumpton, was delighted with the accolade.
“We have worked extremely hard to make the Wrexham programme into a very good product and I feel we have done just that,” he said. “I would like to thank all of the contributors for their help and support and we are already working on brand new ideas for the new season.”
This is what the Programme Monthly had to say about the Wrexham programme in the May 2014 edition.
“With its matt cover, Wrexham`s issue immediately feels a little bit more classy than many of its competitors and the look of the pages inside is good too with not too much in the way of advertising to stop the flow. Where to start with the content? Well, there is plenty of it, with a number of articles and columnists writing on a variety of subjects in the issue judged, examples being how former Wrexham players are faring at other clubs, a call up for one player to the Gibraltar national team and a preview of a forthcoming Wales international.
“One column is in Welsh so I cannot ascertain too much about it, and it is certainly no criticism, although I suspect most away fans won`t dwell on that one too long. Talking of the opposition, they get a massive ten pages, although the content does justify it. There are three separate current player interviews as well as a quiz and two pages of club history. A cracking effort.”
Both the content and design scored nine out of ten.
